Cornucopia is a world in Vaardspace orbiting a large white star. The world is not a planet, instead it is several conjoined planet-sized elemental beings. To communicate with others, Cornucopia raises humanoid plant spirits who become its ambassadors.
|
|
|
|
Cornucopia also produces huge quantities of food for Vaardspace. Most of the supplemental food that the Armada distributes to less bountiful worlds comes from Cornucopia.
|
|
|
|
The world Cornucopia was introduced to the Emerald Armada by dragon kind in the early years of the Armada's exploration. Over millennia, the elves is the Armada cultivated a friendship and admiration for Cornucopia. In return, Cornucopia developed a respect and affection for the elves.
|
|
|
|
As the borders of Vaardspace grew, the Armada needed more food to sustain themselves and the populations in their borders. Cornucopia agreed to provide crops and specially bred plants in exchange for protection and a pledge of the Armada to preserve the natural biomes on the world's they encounter. |
