+Lithica is a rocky planet in a the Klauth binary star sphere on the edge of Vaardspace. It has low tectonic activity and a wealth of mithril, adamantium, and other minerals. The sphere system is anchored by a red hyper giant Star and a much smaller yellow star. Lithica orbits the smaller yellow star. It is the only rocky planet in the sphere, although the sphere contains two gas giants and an icy debris cloud on its edge.

+A meteor of Orichalcum (1,000 gp/pound), a crystalline mineral highly valued by artificers, crashed on the rocky planet Lithica. The Regulators have been hired by Yappa Intersphereal Logistics as a security detail. Their contract is to ensure the safe transport of power cells and mining equipment to the dwarves who are working the claim, and to ensure the contracted weight of Orichalcum is delivered to a Yapa receiving facility.

+The dwarven colony mining the meteor need help clearing out a Kruthik hive that has been growing nearby. Kruthik are notorious Intersphereal pests. They are six legged armor plates lizards that can burrow in rock and can hibernate in vacuum. They are found on many rocky planets, planetoids, and asteroids within the Greater Sphere.

+It is unclear if the Kruthik were dormant on the meteor until it fell or if they were hibernating in subterranean tunnels. In any case, they need to go. The miners will let the heroes take as much ore as they are allowed to carry if they clear out the hive.

+#### Klauth System
+Lithicas sphere is anchored by a binary star system containing a red hyper giant star named Klauth, and a small yellow-white star Shard. Lithicas orbits Shard, and the pair orbit Klauth.
